This NNI web site provides for online registration of your Nunavut Business. But in some cases, (such as when the owner of the Nunavut Business does not have access to an Internet-connected computer) online registration might not be practical. For this reason, we provide the ability to print a Manual Application Form.
Submit your completed application form and COPIES of all specified forms relevant to your type of business with your application. They should go to your regional qualification committee. The address of your regional qualification committee can be found on our contact page.
All businesses must submit:
- Certificate of Compliance issued by the Nunavut Worker’s Compensation Board, Iqaluit (867) 979-8500.
- Business License issued by a Nunavut Community or where applicable the Government of Nunavut, Department of Municipal and Community Affairs, Iqaluit (867) 975-5300.
- Nunavut Health Care Card(s) of majority owner(s) issued by Government of Nunavut of Health and Social Services, Health Services Administration Division, Rankin Inlet. (867) 645-8016.
- Nunavut Health Care Card of Resident Manager.
Sole Proprietorships must also submit:
- Certified copy of a Declaration of Business Name
Partnerships must also submit:
- Certified copy of a Declaration of Partnership
Incorporated Businesses must also submit:
- Certificate of Compliance (Annual Filings)
- Certificate of Incorporation (New Nunavut Incorporated Business)
- Certificate of Status (Extra-Territorial) issued by the Government of Nunavut, Department of Justice, Legal Registries Division, Box 1000-station 570, Iqaluit, NU X0A 0H0, ph. (867) 975-6590, fax: (867) 975-6594.
- Copy of the Share Register maintained at the Records Office of the Corporation.
Co-Operative Associations must also submit:
