The NNI Secretariat has several tools to help both contractors and contracting authorities submit and evaluate Tenders and RFP's. These include Tender forms and Contract Analysis forms. The Tender forms should be the same as the forms in your contract documents. The analysis forms are more of a tool for the contracting authorities but may be helpful for you to understand what a Contracting Authority does with the information you provide to them in your submissions. In all cases the forms are automated to allow you to submit a clean electronic version of the documents as well as calculate totals, when required, based on information you have provided. The ability to calculate totals also allows you to immediately see the impact of using Nunavut Businesses and Inuit Firms in your tender. Please take the time to experiment with the forms by changing sub-contractor or material supplier information based on the businesses in the NNI Registry and Inuit Firm Registry. You may be surprised at the competitive advantage using businesses from these Registries may offer you.
Each of the Tender and Analysis forms has an explanation in the document or has a document associated with it that explains how to fill out the form you are using. The Forms have the individual areas you must fill in highlighted to draw your attention to them. Be careful to ensure the forms are properly completed to ensure you receive the benefits you are entitled to receive under the NNI Policy. The Forms and supporting explanation document can be downloaded to your own computer to print or save for future use.
We hope you find these forms to be useful and look forward to adding more tools in the near future.
