By registering your Nunavut business with the NNI Secretariat and renewing its registration each year you stand to benefit from the Government of Nunavut's procurement activity.
By registering your business with both the NNI Secretariat and NTI, you could gain a total bid adjustment of up to 21% on Government of Nunavut contracts. When you register your business with the NNI Secretariat, be sure to specify what Goods and Services you offer, because you will only qualify for the Goods incentive for the Goods you have registered to supply.
All contractors who receive confirmation that they have been registered as a Nunavut Business on the NNI website are responsible to confirm that the details in their registration are correct. The details would include all contact information and all listed goods and services.
Contractors who bid on Government of Nunavut Tenders and RFPs often need sub-contractors. These contractors have to meet targets for using Nunavut, Inuit and Local suppliers. By registering your Nunavut Business with the NNI Secretariat, you also make your business and it's capabilities known to these contractors.
Note 1: To qualify for the Nunavut Business bid adjustment, the business must have received designation as a Nunavut Business at least two weeks prior to the Tender or RFP closing.
Note 2: There is no fee associated with registering or renewing an NNI Registration.
